The Tioga Chamber of Commerce has different ways for you to get involved. We are always looking for volunteers to help with community events such as Freedom Fest and Main Street Christmas. We encourage participation in one of our active committees.
Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee oversees the following functions
- Identify and recruit new members
- Identify and recruit board members as terms expire
- Advise board on possible changes to membership perks and benefits
- Maintain active and potential member contact lists
- Send annual dues letters
- Act as new member liaison to facilitate involvement
Activities Committee:
The Activities Committee oversees the following functions
- Maintain and update annual events calendar
- Point of contact for festivals and events
- Develop and propose event budgets to the board of directors
- Maintain social media platforms
Advertising Committee:
The Activities Committee oversees the following functions
- Develop, propose, and update advertising programs
- Create and recommend budget for advertising programs
- Complete desired funding requests from city and present to board for approval/submission
Community Outreach:
The Community Outreach Committee oversees the following functions
- Communicate with local churches/non-profits for needs and opportunities
- Develop and facilitate outreach programs
- Oversee donations and report at meetings
